About Me

Mark Reynolds has played an active role in the marketing and administration of employer group health plans in California since 1984.

From 1984 to 1993 Mark was the Senior Vice President for Quorum Insurance Administrators in Diamond Bar, California. In 1993, Mark facilitated the sale of Quorum to the Dunn & Bradstreet Corporation.

Mark’s background also includes being a founding member of the Inland Empire Association of Health Underwriters and Past President of the California Association of Independent Administrators.

Mark purchased the Visalia, California employee benefit firm BEN-E-LECT in 1996 and expanded the concept of “shared funding” for employers to as small as 2 lives.  Through its Employer Driven Health Plans™, BEN-E-LECT has saved thousands of employers an average of 35% in the cost of the group’s health care cost.   He firmly believes that employers, employees, insurance carriers, and medical providers working together can manage the cost of healthcare better than just letting the insurance company manage your care.

Mark and his wife Marilyn have three daughters.  They enjoy living and working in the San Joaquin Valley, as the area and its’ residents provide great similarities to their original home in Iowa.
